E-learning tips

The following e-learning tips are provided to help you navigate and get the most out of this learning experience.

Right-hand side menu

In every content page of the course, you will find, on your right-hand side, a menu similar to this one. By clicking on the appropriate item, you will always be able to go back to the Table of Contents, access the Glossary and the Help pages.

Navigation

There are two ways to navigate the course content:

  1. Individual page navigation
    • Click Next at the bottom right of each page to go to the next page.
      By always choosing Next, you will be guided through all of the content pages. This is the preferred method to navigate if it is your first time through the course.
    • Click Previous at the bottom left of each page to go to the previous page.
  2. Table of Contents
    • Click on a menu item to go directly to that section in the training.

Hypertext link

When clicked on, the hypertext link that appears in blue presents additional information on the related topic in a pop-up window. The link will then change color to show it has been visited.

Exercises

Each course includes a number of in-lesson questions to check your understanding of the material as it is presented. The final exercise provides additional questions and covers the entire course. Answers and feedback to questions from each exercise are provided when you select Submit.

Glossary

A glossary of terms, abbreviations and acronyms related to the course is available when you click on the Glossary button.
